In a heartwarming celebration of alumni pride, members of the JANAVI Association (Alumni of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Seoni) organized a special felicitation program to welcome Mrs. Sheetla Patle, IAS – District Magistrate, Seoni, who herself is a distinguished alumna of JNV Balaghat.
The event, held at the Collectorate Conference Hall, Seoni, reflected the enduring spirit of the Navodaya family. The DM was received with a floral welcome by senior alumni including Shri Sumit Rai, Shri Shyam Uikey, Smt. Smriti Bramhe, Smt. Nishi Baghel, Smt. Manju Javare, Smt. Jyoti Baghel, and Ms. Manu Dhurve.
To symbolize growth and sustainability, alumni members Shri Anil Patel, Shri Mahendra Katewar, Shri Sandeep Naag, Shri Vipin Parte, Shri Yogesh Markam, and Shri Vasant Meshram presented saplings to Mrs. Patle as a green gesture.

Shri Shyam Uikey and Shri Sandeep Naag (President, JANAVI Association) introduced the association’s objectives and upcoming initiatives focusing on mentorship, social contribution, and community welfare.
The meeting concluded with a heartfelt exchange of memories and mutual appreciation, followed by group photographs outside the Collectorate — marking a symbolic reunion between an institution and its accomplished alumna.
Mrs. Sheetla Patle expressed her happiness and pride in reconnecting with her alma mater and appreciated the alumni’s continued commitment to education, mentorship, and social service in the district.
JANAVI Association extended gratitude to all alumni for their enthusiastic participation and reaffirmed its dedication to contributing meaningfully to the Navodaya community and society at large.
